- For the sauce: tomatoes, slices of pepper, 1 cup of warm water, salt
- 500 gr semi fat ground meat
- 1 egg
- 1 onion
- some parsley
- 3 tablespoons breadcrumb
- Spices (salt, pepper, cumin, thyme, paprika)
- 3-4 potatoes
- 2-3 tomato
- 2-3 pepper
- 1 tablespoon Tomato Paste
- 1 cup of warm water
- oil for frying
How to make Izmir meatballs:
After we put the ground meat in a medium sized bowl, break 1 egg on the top. Let’s grate 1 onion and add the spices according to your taste and preference: salt, pepper, cumin and thyme and add 3 tablespoons of breadcrumbs. After chop up and putting the parsley, mix it with your hand and knead.
Cut the resulting mixture into as pieces equal to the size of a walnut, then give them the shape of a finger and lay it on a plate and let it sit.
