Hello friends! We will make one of Turkey’s most important varieties of soup as Turkish Foods family with you today. This soup is a kind that suits almost all main dishes at dinner. This soup has a history of thousands of years in Anatolian soil. Ezo Gelin, who lived in the village of Uruş (Dokuzyol) in Gaziantep, which brought Ezogelin soup to Turkish cuisine and named it. Ezogelin soup made in almost as many regions of Turkey and the Turkish people are loved by a delicious soup.  No matter where you are in Turkey when we say soup the first thing that comes to your mind one of the delicious that  ezogelin soup. You can find this meal local restaurant and this dish is cooked in almost every home in Turkey. Genarally, it is made at dinner in Turkey. It accompanies many dishes very easy. It is a very delicious dish that is preferred and served before meals and is also easy to prepare. This dish is quite consumed in Turkey and In general, a bowl is a meal that suppresses hunger.  This soup is a meal that can be made with very little ingredients and that we can eat before or after dinner.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Cup Red Lentils
  • 3 Tablespoons Rice
  • 2 Tablespoons Bulgur
  • 1 Piece Onion
  • 1 Teaspoon Tomato Paste
  • 1 Tablespoons Butter
  • 6 Cups Hot Water
  • 1 Teaspoon Mint
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt

Instructions
 

  • Put the hot water in your pot and increase the heat.
  • Wash the lentils in water and put them in the boiling waterin the pot.
  • Put 3 tablespoons of rice, 2 tablespoons of bulgur and 1 teaspoon of salt to the pot.
  • Cook for 35-40 minutes until lentils are soft.
  • Start melting butter in a different pan.
  • Dice and add 1 onion on to of the melted butter.
  • Add 1 teaspoon of tomato paste on to of brown onions.
  • Add 1 teaspoon of mint to the onions and cook for 2 more minutes.
  • The sauce you cook in the pan, Add into the pot, and stir
  • Stir for 10 minutes and continue cooking.
  • If you want, you can garnish it by adding lemon and paprika while serving.
