Dibek Coffee Recipe (Dibek Kahvesi)

Hello frineds! Coffee  always had a great place for the Turkish nation. Today we will share with you the recipe of dibek coffee. Dibek coffee is a bit like mocha. What we call a mortar is actually huge garlic press. A large huge garlic made of stone or wood, often used to crust the grain and and similar things. Dibek coffee, on the other hand, is the form of Turkish coffee and various plants that are pounded in this huge garlic press, and finely powdered. Coffee has always had a place in Turkish culture and we said it is very important, so there are a variety of coffees from the Ottoman period to the present day.

Of course, the most widely consumed of these is Turkish coffee, but with its taste, aroma and benefits for the body, those who drink mortar coffee can become a habit. Dibek coffee differs quite a lot from our traditional Turkish coffee. While the color of Turkish coffee is quite dark, for example, the color of mortar coffee is lighter. We can even say that it has a color that escapes coffee with milk. Coffee grains are not as fine as Turkish coffee, they are more viscous, sizeable and coarse grained.  If we talk about its taste, although it does not taste as intense as Turkish coffee, it may resemble the flavor of coffee with milk relatively. Prepare your kitchen let’s make mortar coffee.
